Your help begets oxygen.
Hello Everyone,
The words contained in these short articles are from real experiences here in the Philippines.
Reforesting begets Oxygen and Sequesters Carbon.
So many myths exist about why we cannot reforest. But we tend to ignore the significance of not doing anything about it. Such as we continue to cut down 17 million trees each year just to make charcoal to supply the number one cooking fuel needs of the country, when we have a total solution already. Very few trees in comparison are planted. Only five years ago the total land area that remained forested has been reduced to where less than 3% has original forest, a drop of more than one full percentage point. At this rate in less than another five years it will all be gone.
Reforesting begets
Oxygen, Sequesters Carbon and Reduces Global Warming.
Agroforestry's first step is an intelligent and practical one to initiate very small nurseries and planting sites, so small that they do not present a threat to anyone, the establishment or whomever; but numerous enough to make a difference. We are embarking to reforest 1% of the Philippines or 290,000 hectares by placing our nurseries in each of the villages (details are below) while using local resources for the most part.
Reforesting begets Oxygen, Sequesters Carbon, Reduces Global Warming and Eradicates Poverty.
This process will add more than half a billion trees to be planted in a design that is both sustainable and economy building at the grassroots. However, large enough to be of interest to the other local residents who want to use their own resources to copy cat this small project that is being started by the Foundation in their own village. This voluntary replication will be responsible for additional 6% reforestation bringing the total to 7% which is critical mass, the point when followers just simply follow and replicate even more.

Please use any of the donation buttons on the right to show your support. Your help will enable our Plant-a-Store to be completed where we will sell sustainable agroforestry products to the world. The proceeds of which will support the IVAFMS Foundation's agroforestry program development.
Oh, after you contribute, please let your friends know also. Please rush so our next post will be one about success.
Help begets help.
Thank you,
